2022 Volunteers of America Classic to Take Place Sept. 26-Oct. 2; Returning to The Colony and Golf Clubs at The Tribute in North Dallas

THE COLONY, Texas, Oct. 7, 2021 –Tournament officials announced today that the 2022 Volunteers of America Classic on the LPGA Tour, initially announced as September 19-25, 2022, will now take place one week later, September 26-October 2 at The Colony at Old American Golf Club, part of Golf Clubs at The Tribute.

The only official LPGA Tour event in the State of Texas, the 2022 Volunteers of America Classic will feature 144 of the world’s best female golfers vying for a share of the $1.5 million purse.

A number of Texans are expected to join the field once again in 2022. The event has crowned a Texan resident as champion the past three years: Cheyenne Knight (2019), Angela Stanford (2020) and Jin Young Ko (2021).

With the momentum from the 2021 event, fans can expect week-long programming to continue to grow and evolve. Tournament officials look forward to offering a variety of family-friendly events centered around youth programing, health and wellness, and culinary experiences.
