Frequently Asked Questions
Volunteering for the #VOAClassic means you are a part of the only LPGA Tour event in the state of Texas. Going on it’s seventh year, the #VOAClassic’s mission is to be the premiere event in North Texas and serve as champions of Volunteers of America’s message while also providing an atmosphere that’s fun for the entire family. Volunteering provides the opportunity to work with family and friends, while also meeting new members of the community and watching the best female golfers in the world compete. With a variety of committees to choose from, there are opportunities for every interest (even if you aren’t an avid golf fan!). You will also receive a volunteer package valued at over $300 with tournament passes and gear.
The standard Volunteer fee is $50 and includes the uniform (two Callaway golf shirts and headwear), one Volunteer Weekly Grounds badge, four Daily Grounds guest tickets and meals during shifts.
Volunteers are encouraged to work at least 3 shifts over the course of Tournament Week. Shifts typically last between 4-6 hours. Days and times may vary depending on the specific committee responsibilities.
